Sonic Healthcare Posts Higher Earnings in Fiscal H1 as Revenue Rises

Sonic Healthcare (ASX:SHL) reported Thursday fiscal half-year statutory earnings of AU$0.492 per diluted share, up from AU$0.426 per diluted share a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Visible Alpha expected diluted EPS of AU$0.49.

Revenue for the six months ended Dec. 31, 2024, was AU$4.67 billion, up from AU$4.31 billion a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Visible Alpha expected total revenue of AU$4.65 billion.

The company said it is on track to achieve its fiscal-year earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization guidance of AU$1.7 billion to AU$1.75 billion on a constant currency basis.

The board declared a dividend of AU$0.44 per share, up from AU$0.43 in the previously reported period, payable on March 20 to shareholders of record as of March 6.
