Talisman Mining (ASX:TLM) said it began a four-hole mud rotary and diamond drilling exploration program with a total depth of 2,400 meters at the Mabel Creek iron oxide-copper-gold project in South Australia, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.
The program is designed to test several large, near-coincident gravity and magnetic targets.
The targets were generated through a combination of interpretation of our recent detailed gravity survey and reprocessing of historical seismic data.
Its shares rose 3% in recent trading on Friday.
