Gold Road Resources (ASX:GOR) confirmed the Gruyere ore body extends at depth with the initial results released from the Gruyere underground drilling program in Western Australia, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
The results from 13 infill drill holes covering 9,478 meters include 119 meters at 1.10 grams per tonne grade of gold, including 33 meters at 1.57 g/t grade of gold from 834 meters, and 54 meters at 1.62 g/t grade of gold, including 28 meters at 1.99 g/t grade of gold from 480 meters, the filing said.
The program will continue for the next 15 months.
The Gruyere JV is a joint venture with Gruyere Mining Company, a member of the Gold Fields group, which manages and operates the Gruyere gold mine, per the filing.
