Macau's gross gaming revenue inched up 0.8% to 19.7 billion Macanese patacas in March from 19.5 billion patacas in the year-ago period, according to data from the city's Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau released Tuesday.
Analysts expected no growth during the year, The Standard reported separately the same day.
Gross gaming revenue for the quarter rose 0.6% to 57.7 billion patacas from 57.3 billion patacas in the year-ago period.
