Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to travel to Washington on Sunday, his office said, for talks with President Trump on issues including tariffs. Israel, one of the many nations subject to the 10% baseline duty rolled out this weekend, faces an increase to 17%.

The country's exports of goods to the U.S., such as diamonds, medicine and electronics, are estimated at around $22 billion a year, U.S. trade data shows. Netanyahu's office said he and Trump will also discuss the Israeli hostages held in Gaza, Israel-Turkey relations, Iran and the International Criminal Court's war-crimes case against Israeli leaders.
