BlockBeats News, April 5th, according to The Washington Post, if the Trump administration's global tariff shockwave is also the opening move in a race to reach a trade agreement with the United States, then UK Prime Minister Starmor defaults as he could win.

Officials believe that reaching a trade agreement with Trump, canceling or reducing the 10% tariff he imposes on the UK, is within reach and could happen in a matter of weeks. Despite some critics accusing him of "kowtowing to Trump," Starmor is prepared to make significant concessions to reach a deal. Two sources revealed that the UK has proposed cutting tariffs on US beef and fish imports.

The Starmor government is prepared to offer an even bigger incentive: reducing the tax that large US tech companies pay in the UK. The UK hopes these concessions will put them in a favorable position among the dozens of countries eager to reach a new agreement with Washington. "Every country is calling us," Trump said. "Now they are willing to do anything for us."
