OSI Systems (OSIS) has received an order from an unnamed international client valued at around $24 million for the company's security division to provide multiple units of its Z Portal drive-through inspection system for scanning large trucks, buses and cargo containers, the company said Tuesday.
The new inspection systems will be used for international border and security applications, with OSI also providing follow-on service and support as part of the contract award, the company said, without providing additional details.
Shares were edging 0.3% higher in early trading.
