China Dongxiang (HKG:3818) appointed Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu as its new auditor with effect from Sept. 30 following the resignation of PricewaterhouseCoopers for the same post effective from Sept. 30, a Monday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.

PricewaterhouseCoopers resigned at the request of the sports apparel and footwear designer and producer company.

The company's shares closed nearly 8% higher on Monday.
