HPP Holdings' (KLSE:HPPHB) profit attributable to owners plummeted to 1 million ringgit in the fiscal first quarter from 2.3 million ringgit a year earlier.
Earnings per share for the three months ended Aug. 31 slumped to 0.0027 ringgit versus 0.0059 ringgit a year ago, according to a Thursday Malaysian bourse filing.
Revenue also shrank to 16.7 million ringgit from 19 million ringgit a year ago, the Malaysian packaging company said.
The board did not recommend a dividend for the period.
Shares fell over 3% recently.
