Huadian Power International's (SHA:600027, HKG:1071) third-quarter attributable profit rose 0.9% year over year to 1.93 billion yuan.
The power producer's basic earnings per share was unchanged at 0.16 yuan, according to a Thursday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
Operating income grew 1.1% year over year to 31.6 billion yuan.
Shares rose 5% in Shanghai and 4% in Hong Kong during Thursday's trading.
