BEIJING, Nov 7 (Reuters) - China's largest chipmaker Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corp 0981.HK reported its net profit increased 58.3% for the third quarter of 2024.

For the three months ended September, the company's net income was $148.8 million, compared with analysts' estimates of $199.71 million, according to LSEG data.

Revenue for the period came in at 2.17 billion, in line with market expectations of $2.2 billion.
