Chinese battery maker EVE Energy (SHE:300014) agreed to lease at least 2,000 new energy vehicles to Guangdong Jinlong New Energy Vehicle Sales for 172.8 million yuan, according to a Shenzhen Stock Exchange filing on Wednesday.
Jinlong New Energy Vehicle Sales is a subsidiary of EVE Energy's controlling shareholder.
The lease will have a term of two years, but can be extended for another 12 months.
EVE's shares rose more than 1% in recent trade.
