Ernst & Young has resigned as CANbridge Pharmaceuticals' (HKG:1228) auditor effective Friday, a same-day Hong Kong bourse filing said.

The move came about as the parties failed to reach an agreement on the audit fee for the year ending Dec. 31.

The biopharmaceutical company, on the same day, appointed HLB Hodgson Impey Cheng as its new auditor.
