China Merchants Bank (HKG:3968, SHA:600036) obtained the approval on the appointment qualifications of Zhong Desheng as the chief risk officer from the National Financial Regulatory Administration, a Monday Hong Kong bourse filing said.

Zhong Desheng started his term as the CRO on Friday and will fill the said role until the conclusion of the twelfth session of the board of directors of the company.
