Wia Gold (ASX:WIA) ) hit new gold intercepts following the second phase of its reconnaissance reverse circulation drilling program at the Bouafle gold project in Ivory Coast, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Results from drilling at the project included six meters at 4.31 grams per tonne of gold from 124 meters and 13 meters at 1.02g/t gold from 43 meters, the filing said.
These were intersected following a 12-hole reverse circulation drill program covering 1,590 meters.
The company's shares were up nearly 4% in recent Tuesday trade.
