Technology stocks were flat to lower pre-bell Friday as the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) was inactive and the iShares Expanded Tech Sector ETF (IGM) recently declined by 0.2%.
Grid Dynamics Holdings (GDYN) is set to join the S&P SmallCap 600 index on Jan. 2, the S&P Dow Jones Indices said. Grid Dynamics Holdings shares were up over 9% premarket.
Arena Group (AREN) shares rose past 14% after the company said it was notified by NYSE American that its plan to regain compliance with the exchange's continued listing standards had been accepted.
Gaxos.ai (GXAI) shares were down more than 10% after the company said it has agreed to sell about 1.3 million common shares priced at $3 apiece in a registered direct offering for gross proceeds of about $4 million.
