** Shares of live TV streaming platform FuboTV fall 6.5% to $5.00 premarket
** U.S. satellite TV provider DirecTV challenged a dismissal of FUBO's lawsuit against Venu Sports, a sports streaming venture planned by Walt Disney , Fox Corp and Warner Bros Discovery
** DirecTV says the settlement does not resolve antitrust issues around the sports streaming joint venture
** FUBO had sued the three media giants behind Venu in February, claiming the venture would reduce competition and increase prices for consumers
** Earlier this week, FuboTV asked the U.S. District Court in Manhattan to dismiss its lawsuit against Venu after DIS said it would merge its Hulu + Live TV business with the smaller rival
** FUBO shares had fallen ~60% in 2024
