Genesis Minerals (ASX:GMD) reported record gold production for the December 2024 quarter of 57,055 ounces at an all-in sustaining cost of AU$2,202 per ounce, according to a filing with the Australian bourse on Thursday.
Its production for six months to Dec. 31, 2024, clocked in at 93,075 ounces at an AISC of AU$2,383 per ounce, the filing said.
The firm reported gold sales for the quarter of 49,643 ounces at an average price of AU$4,047 per ounce, generating revenue of AU$200.9 million and increasing cash and equivalents to A$237.5 million on Dec. 31, 2024.
Its half-year unaudited statutory net profit after tax came in at AU$55 million to AU$65 million.
It is on track to meet its fiscal year 2025 guidance of 190,000 ounces to 210,000 ounces at all-in sustaining costs of AU$2,200 per ounce to AU$2,400 per ounce, the filing added.
It also established a AU$130 million senior corporate financing facility with a syndicate of three banking partners to provide balance sheet flexibility.
The firm's shares rose 5% in early trade on Thursday.
