WIA Gold (ASX:WIA) reported assay results for ten reverse circulation drill holes and eight diamond drill holes completed at the Kokoseb gold project in Namibia, according to an Australian bourse filing on Monday.
The central high-grade area in the project yielded up to 19.8 meters at 2.28 grams per tonne of gold from 286.8 meters, including six meters at 4.52 g/t of gold, 21.9 meters at 4.32 g/t of gold from 329.7 meters, including 9.7 meters at 7.27 g/t of gold.
The NW zone also returned significant intercepts, including 18.5 meters at 1.09 g/t of gold from 358 meters and 12 meters at 2.08 g/t of gold from 383 meters.
The firm plans to add two further reverse circulation rigs in addition to the existing ones and focus on identifying additional resources in the central, NW, and Northern zones of the project.
