Huaneng Power International's (HKG:0902, SHA:600011) total electricity sold by its power plants in China in the fourth quarter of 2024 stood at 111.699 billion kilowatt-hours, up 1.1% from the year-ago period, a Tuesday bourse filing said.
From January to December 2024, total electricity sales also rose by a little over 1.1% year over year to 452.9 billion kilowatt-hours.
In 2024, the electric power company saw an average on-grid electricity settlement price of 494.26 yuan per megawatt-hour for its China power plants, down 2.85% from a year prior.
The company attributed the rise in sales mainly to its active promotion of green and low-carbon development.
