Santana Minerals (ASX:SMI) said drilling results from its Bendigo-Ophir gold project in New Zealand revealed minor extensions to the pit, at a generally lower grade than the higher grade core, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The drilling resulted in an intercept of 14 meters at 7.4 grams per tonne grade of gold from a depth of 155 meters.
A revised mineral resource estimate is being conducted for the Rise and Shine deposit at the project.
It began infill drilling at the Rise and Shine South deposit and the first hole in the program delivered high-grade results.
