By Isha Marathe

Feb 4 - (The Insurer) - Mission Underwriters' Carrow Insurance has brought in Dublin, Ireland-based Matt Davis from Euro Insurances DAC as business development underwriter.

Having joined Carrow, Davis will report to the MGA's CEO Ronan Conboy.

Davis has over 30 years of experience in the industry, and most recently served as head of underwriting at Euro Insurances DAC, the insurance company affiliate of firms including LeasePlan and Ayvens Insurance. At Euro Insurances, Carrow said Davis developed and executed comprehensive underwriting strategies across a diverse portfolio encompassing 14 product lines throughout 20 European countries.

Davis' career also includes stints at Goggin Insurance Brokers, Prestige Underwriting Services, ARB Underwriting, St. Paul International Insurance, and others.

"This strategic appointment reflects Carrow's ambitious growth trajectory. [Davis] holds extensive product expertise and industry recognition and will be key to our underwriting strategy and portfolio development," Conboy said.

"His proven excellence in portfolio management and data-driven approach will be invaluable in delivering superior insights and service to Carrow's market partners."

In October 2024, Program Manager reported that Mission Underwriters was set to launch the multi-line Carrow. The MGA focuses on warranty, accident, and health and income protection products in the UK and Europe. Supported by A- rated capacity through Accelerant, the MGA plans to expand into additional lines through 2025.
