Toys"R"Us ANZ (ASX:TOY) said its Chief Executive Officer Penny Cox has resigned effective immediately, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

The company said a search for a new CEO is underway and the company's Chair Kelly Humphreys will serve as executive chair in the interim, while Teresa Smith will serve as an interim executive director until a new CEO is appointed, the filing said.
