NextEra Energy's board has raised the clean-energy company's quarterly dividend by 10%, to 56.65 cents from 51.5 cents.
The new payout, equal to about $2.67 a year, represents an annual yield of around 3.29% based on Friday's early trading price of $68.96, up from 2.99%.
The Juno Beach, Fla., company said the increased dividend is payable March 17 to shareholders of record Feb. 28.
