Tempus AI saw its loss narrow in the fourth quarter despite booking higher costs and seeing a surge in revenue in the period.
Shares fell 8.3% to $64 in post-market trading. Through Monday's close, shares have doubled year to date.
The healthcare technology company posted a loss $13 million compared with a loss of $50.5 million a year earlier. Stripping out one-time items, earning per share came in at 18 cents. Analysts polled by FactSet had forecast an adjusted loss of 16 cents a share, according to FactSet.
Revenue rose 36% to $200.7 million, the company said. Wall Street forecast higher revenue of $203.1 million.
Chief Executive Eric Lefkofsky said the company expects robust revenue growth and positive adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization in 2025.
Tempus AI forecast revenue of $1.24 billion for 2025, up from $693.4 million in 2024.
