Lefroy Exploration (ASX:LEX) has begun a resource infill and extensional drilling program at the Lucky Strike gold project located 5 kilometers west of the Mt Monger Road and haulage corridor in Western Australia, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The program will incorporate 3,000 meters of reverse-circulation drilling, with average hole depths between 40 meters and 50 meters, per the filing.
Results are due in March, while mining operations are targeted for the second half of the year.
Lefroy Exploration's shares were down 4% in recent trade.
