Shimao Group (HKG:0813) recorded contracted sales of 1.86 billion yuan in February with a contracted sold area of 153,967 square meters and an average selling price of 12,067 yuan per square meter, a Friday bourse filing said.

For the two months ended February, the group's contracted sales amounted to 4.06 billion yuan, the contracted sold area was 330,493 square meters, and the average selling price came in at 12,294 yuan per square meter.

Shares of the real estate company plummeted nearly 19% on Friday's close.
