Arika Resources (ASX:ARI) said new step-out drill results have extended the gold mineralized zone at its Yundamindra gold project in Western Australia, to a strike length of over 800 meters and a depth of at least 150 meters down-dip from surface, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The assay results include 28 meters at 1.40 grams per tonne grade of gold from 70 meters, including 12 meters at 3.01 g/t of gold from 79 meters and one meter at 24.12 g/t of gold from 87 meters.
Drilling is planned to resume shortly to follow up latest results and begin testing new targets, the filing added.
The company's shares were up 5% in recent Wednesday trade.
