Digital Core REIT (SGX:DCRU) agreed to acquire a 20% interest in Digital Osaka 3 TMK, which holds a data center located in Osaka, Japan, a filing with the Singapore Exchange said on Wednesday.
The agreed value for the 20% interest is 13.0 billion Japanese yen.
The data center comprises 193,535 net rentable square feet of area and has a 100% occupancy.
The acquisition is part of the REIT's strategy to expand its presence in the global data center market.
