- Chevron CVX.N has agreed to sell 70% interest in its East Texas gas assets for $525 million to TG Natural Resources, as part of the U.S. energy company's strategy to optimize its portfolio.

- In one of Mark Zuckerberg's first specific asks since Donald Trump took office, Meta executives META.O have pressed U.S. trade officials to fight against an expected European Union $(EU)$ fine and cease-and-desist order.

-SoftBank Group 9984.T has agreed to lead a funding of up to $40 billion in a for-profit subsidiary of OpenAI, valuing the ChatGPT maker at $300 billion.

-Rocket Companies RKT.N said on Monday it would buy home loan service provider Mr Cooper Group COOP.O for $9.4 billion, boosting its mortgages business in its second big deal this month to take advantage of a rebound in U.S. housing demand.

- The Trump administration is turning its sights to Harvard University, opening a review of nearly $9 billion in federal grants and contracts as part of its investigation into how schools have handled antisemitism.

- In his first remarks as Intel's INTC.O new CEO, Lip-Bu Tan on Monday outlined a leaner version of the iconic American chipmaker in which he would work directly with engineers to develop new products based on feedback from the company's customers.
