LifeMD (LFMD) said Monday it has acquired key assets from Optimal Human Health MD, a virtual health care provider for women.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

LifeMD said the acquisition marks its entry into the women's health market with the offering expected to launch on its platform this summer.

LifeMD said it will absorb Optimal's nurse practitioners, registered dietitians, and patient care staff along with Doug Lucas, the physician who founded the company.

Shares of LifeMD were down more than 4% in recent premarket activity.
