Moody's (NYSE:MCO) reported quarterly earnings of $2.61 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $2.59 by 0.77 percent. This is a 19.18 percent increase over earnings of $2.19 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $1.67 billion which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $1.70 billion by 1.82 percent. This is a 12.97 percent increase over sales of $1.48 billion the same period last year.
