Equifax Inc. (EFX) stock plummeted 5.27% in pre-market trading on Thursday, following the release of the company's fourth-quarter 2024 earnings results that missed analyst expectations.
The consumer credit reporting agency reported Q4 revenue of $1.419 billion, falling short of the consensus estimate of $1.440 billion. Equifax's Q4 earnings per share came in at $1.39, missing the projected $1.63 EPS estimate.
The disappointing financial results, which also included lower-than-expected operating income of $288.1 million, weighed heavily on Equifax's stock price in pre-market trading before the regular session began on Thursday.
