Shares of BOYAA Interactive International Ltd (00434.HK) surged 11.06% on Monday morning, following the company's announcement of a significant increase in its profit attributable for the first nine months of the year.
In a filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, BOYAA stated that it expects its profit attributable for the nine months ended September 30, 2024, to surge between 145% and 155% compared to the same period last year. This substantial profit growth has been the primary driver behind the company's stock soaring on Monday.
Additionally, BOYAA forecasted its revenue for the nine-month period to increase by 5% to 10% year-over-year. While not as significant as the profit growth, the revenue increase also contributed to the positive sentiment surrounding the company's financial performance.
