Prudential (HKG:2378, SGX:K6S) repurchased 1,321,133 shares in London at an average price of about 6.1670 pounds sterling per share on Monday, according to a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
The filing said that upon cancellation of the purchased shares, the company will have 2,723,469,234 shares in issue.
