Daan Gene Gets Approval for Whopping Cough Detection Kit
China's medical products administrator granted Daan Gene (SHE:002030) medical device approval for its
bordetella pertussis nucleic acid detection kit for whopping cough, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
The kit will be used in nasopharyngeal swab samples from humans.
The permit is valid for five years, the filing said.
Shares closed 1% lower during Wednesday's trading.
