CRRC (HKG:1766, SHA:601766) expects to roll off the CR450 high-speed electric multiple unit within the year, National Business Daily reported, citing remarks by Chairman Sun Yongcai at a plenary meeting in Tianjin, China.
The trainset has speeds of 400 kilometers per hour, the report said.
The trainset manufacturer also plans to adhere to environment-friendly practices such as green investments, green manufacturing and innovation, services, and enterprise, the report said.
Shares closed 3% lower in Hong Kong during Wednesday's trading.
