UOB-Kay Hian (SGX:U10), through its wholly-owned subsidiary UOB Kay Hian (BVI), has acquired additional shares in its Thai subsidiary, UOB Kay Hian Securities (Thailand) Public Company Limited, according to a Sunday filing on the Singapore Exchange.
On Sept. 6, UOB-Kay Hian (BVI) purchased 11,000 shares for 5.1012 baht per share. Following this transaction, UOB Kay Hian's total shareholding in UOB Kay Hian Securities (Thailand) stands at 91.9 million shares, representing 18.3% of the subsidiary.
UOB-Kay Hian Holdings maintains direct ownership of 355 million shares in UOB Kay Hian Securities (Thailand), which equates to a 70.7% stake.
