Lion Selection Invests Additional AU$1.5 Million in Brightstar Resources via Placement; Shares Rise 6%

Lion Selection Group (ASX:LSX) raised its investment in Brightstar Resources (ASX:BTR) by AU$1.5 million under a placement offer first disclosed by Brightstar last Aug. 2, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

This brings Lion Selection's total participation in the gold explorer's placement to AU$5.8 million. The additional placement will be settled in tranche two of the AU$24 million equity raise and will increase Lion Selection's interest in Brightstar Resources to 6.1%.

Brightstar Resources' shares rose 6% in recent trade.
