China Longyuan Power Group (SHE:001289, HKG:0916) recorded a power generation of nearly 5 million megawatt hours in August, up 7.38% from 4.7 million MWh the previous year, according to a Thursday filing on the Hong Kong stock exchange.
Wind power generation rose 0.2%, coal-fired power generation climbed 8% and other renewable energy power generation jumped 47.6% year on year.
Between January and August, the energy company's power generation was 51.3 million MWh, 1.1% higher than 50.7 million MWh, the filing added.
