China New Economy Fund (HKG:0080) has appointed Choi Chit Sze Jackson to act as chairman of the board effective from Tuesday, Sept. 17, following the resignation of its co-chairman Huang Bin, a same-day filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.
The investment company's shares closed 23% higher on Tuesday.
