Aurelia Metals (ASX:AMI) fired the first underground stope at its Federation mine in New South Wales, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.
Bogging of the ore is set to start soon ahead of production ramp-up at the project, the filing said.
Shares climbed 3% in midday trading.
