The local equity market may also be weighed by disappointing U.S. economic data released overnight when the Conference Board said its index of consumer confidence fell to a three-month low in September. Among the worst performers on the benchmark index, UOB loses 1.0%, Singapore Telecommunications drops 0.9%, and Frasers Logistics & Commercial Trust is down 0.9%.
