Ganfeng Lithium Group (SHE:002460, HKG:1772) will participate in a 1.50 billion yuan investment fund, according to a Friday disclosure on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
The lithium company will invest 367.5 million yuan into the capital of the fund to be called Nanchang New Energy Technology Industry Investment Fund (Limited Partnership).
Ganfeng will hold a 24.5% stake in the fund with its investment.
The fund will invest in asset management and other activities with private equity funds, the disclosure said.
Ganfeng's shares surged over 11% in Hong Kong and jumped 10% in Shenzhen recently.
