Chaoju Eye Care (HKG:2219) unit Chaoju Medical Technology has subscribed for a further 240 million yuan of structured deposit products by Bank Of China (HKG:3988, SHA:601988), a Sept. 27 bourse filing said.
The subscription will enable the company to get maximum return on the surplus cash generated from its business operations.
The unit had invested in other similar products earlier this year in May and August.
Shares of the ophthalmic care company were up over 8% in recent trade.
