SKY Perfect JSAT (TYO:9412) said the total number of SKY PerfecTV! subscribers were about 2.68 million in September, with a net decrease of 28,309 subscribers from the previous month.
The optical fiber re-transmission service, however, saw a net increase of 7,238 subscribers, reaching over 2.8 million subscribing households.
The churn rate for SKY PerfecTV! was 2.8%, while the optical fiber service had a churn rate of 0.4%, according to its filing on Wednesday.
