VIAVI Solutions (VIAV) said Tuesday it launched its VIAVI Automated Lab-as-a-Service Open RAN testing facility in Chandler, Arizona.
The company said a US National Telecommunications and Information Administration grant funded the testing facility.
It added that its VIAVI Automated Lab-as-a-Service facility would provide a fully automated, impartial Lab-as-a-Service/Test-as-a-Service suite for testing Open RAN interoperability, performance, and security.
