Fire Rock (HKG:1909) said it is unaware of any reason for the unusual fluctuation in the recent price and trading volume of the company's shares, according to a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange.
On Monday, the shares opened at HK$0.160 and closed at HK$0.212 on Monday with the trading volume of the shares of the company surging to roughly 34.4 million from about 5.5 million on Friday.
The mobile games developer's shares closed over 28% lower on Tuesday at HK$0.152 while they opened the day at HK$0.220 with the trading volume reaching close to 13.4 million for the day.
