MOG Digitech (HKG:1942) entered into a memorandum of understanding with Waton Securities International to form a joint venture.

For the joint venture, the parties will be leveraging their expertise in financial security brokerage, software as a service, and digital technology capabilities, a Monday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.

The parties intend to develop an over-the-counter digital currency financial securities trading desk to provide security trading services to security companies. The system encompasses essential elements for supporting brokerage business operations.

The digital financial and e-commerce solution and services provider's shares closed over 8% higher on Tuesday.
