Prospera Global (SGX:5HH) has responded to inquiries from the SGX-ST regarding the resignations of non-executive and independent director Mannar Rajkumar and executive director and group CEO Cheong Weixiong, both effective Oct. 1, according to a Saturday filing on the Singapore Exchange.
Rajkumar resigned to pursue personal interests, with no concerns or disputes related to his departure. His tenure lasted seven months after his appointment on March 1.
Meanwhile, Weixiong stepped down to facilitate a transition to incoming executive director Guo Jiahui, aligning with the company's diversification strategy. While his executive role ended on Oct. 1, he will assist with the transition until Nov. 30.
